Known among reiki, but forgotten in our daily lives, the principles of Reiki bring us high precepts to follow and refer to a change in our soul, step by step, but definitive.
Each of the principles is a simple sentence that we can choose to work with. It can be for a day, for a few days or for an indefinite period, until the negative aspect we have within us changes and turns into a positive.

What are the principles of Reiki?
Practicing these principles daily is much more than giving or receiving an energy. This is experiencing Reiki, it is practicing good living.
Just for today, don’t get mad
When we work on this principle, we learn to deal with the wounds, resentments and anger that harbor within us and poison our being. When we give in to the excesses and whims of the ego and its wrangling, we are almost shaken. By avoiding irritation, we free ourselves from our shadows, fear and accept ourselves and others.
Just for today don’t worry
This principle teaches how to break ties with the concepts of pain and anguish. Slowly, we can give the right time for each person and for each situation we face in life. Thus it becomes possible to detach oneself from anxiety and, little by little, abandon control (of situations, of others and of ourselves).
Just for today give thanks for your blessings, respect your parents, teachers and elders
This statement reminds us of respect for each person’s life and experience. With it, we work on our claim, on our pride, and put ourselves in the right place of life’s apprentices.

Just for today, be kind and gentle to all living things.
How many times a day do we remind ourselves to be grateful and appreciate the things around us? Food and water, essential for our survival. The air we breathe and which contains vital elements. All this without mentioning all the animals that help us and interact with us, as well as people, who are the impetus for learning and evolution… This principle speaks of respect for life!
