Ingredients:

  • 2 sachets of vegetable seasoning powder
  • 1/3 cup oil (tea)
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 cups breadcrumbs (tea)
  • Fry oil

Filling

  • 350 g of diced mozzarella

Method of preparation:

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the milk with the spices and oil over medium heat.
  2. Then cook for 5 minutes or until just starting to bubble.
  3. In the meantime, add the soft wheat flour all at once and mix with a wooden spoon until it detaches from the bottom of the pan.
  4. Place on a cold surface and wait for it to cool.
  5. Immediately afterwards, take portions of dough with your hands, fill with mozzarella cubes and close by shaping balls.
  6. Dip the balls in the egg and milk mixture and dip them in the breadcrumbs.
  7. Then fry, little by little, in hot oil until golden brown.
  8. Finally, drain on absorbent paper and serve.
