To add to this scenario, the Ilha do Mel Lodges luxury inn offers, since December 2022, a new accommodation option on the island, combining comfort and hospitality in the middle of nature. Located in Praia do Istmo, 500 meters from Brasília Pier, the inn features loft-type lodges with front and rear views of the sea and other tourist attractions of Ilha do Mel.

There are a total of five units available for rent, four of which measure 40 square meters, have a double bed and a sofa bed that can accommodate up to two children. The other unit is 80m2, plus 150m2 of private terrace with a suite for couples and a single bedroom with treliche bed, accommodating three more people.

All accommodations have the same view. “We built the inn so that no guest has the inconvenience of settling in the ‘back room’,” says entrepreneur Tairone Passos, head of development. In this way, the space has a sea front from the outside and a return to the sea from the inside of Ilha do Mel, as well as providing views of Ilha das Palmas, Farol das Conchas and Fortaleza Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres.

“The whole area of ​​the inn has been made with raised bridges, which has made it possible to maintain the flora of the land. We also do not interfere with the routine of the fauna. Guests may come across small animals and many birds circulating here,” he comments the businessman.

Tourists who also intend to work during their stay have a guaranteed structure, with fiber optic Wi-Fi available in the accommodation facilities. Other services that guests can enjoy in the home office are air conditioning, induction cell phone charger, mini-kitchen and private balconies, to work from a different point of view.

To reach the inn, guests can get off the exclusive access ramp using water taxis. And for those who need faster travel, in collaboration with an air taxi company, the inn also offers customers a helicopter service to transport them directly from Curitiba to the island. There are 25 minutes of travel between the capital and the coast with the cost of the service.
