Use associated with alcohol and contraceptives
Since the drug is widely used in diabetic patients, it is important to avoid or consume alcohol in moderation. This is because alcoholic beverages can cause hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia in patients with diabetes, with hypoglycemia being the most frequent. Even small amounts can significantly lower blood sugar, especially on an empty stomach or after exercise.
