1. Books you no longer like

Books have a great emotional charge. They usually transport us to other worlds, and the ones we read at particular moments in our lives have an even greater load of feelings. A collection of any object takes up space and takes some work to organize and clean. It also usually reminds people — sometimes it’s even a legacy — that they may no longer be in your life. Getting rid of objects doesn’t mean getting rid of memories of the moments they provided.

Every time you open the closet you come across that broken vintage cup that was left to fix and so far nothing… The accumulation of broken things can mean difficulty letting go, fear of letting things go. This generates a large block of energy and a sense of guilt in the face of a task (fixing the object) that you should have done and didn’t do.
7. That pile of old papers
The greatest despair that a pile of paper causes is the mystery that exists there. It is not known if there are important papers, documents, invoices, travel souvenirs, old recipes… This type of hoarding also generates anxiety, stress and shows difficulty in letting go of old memories.
