Mother of little Liz, almost 2 years old, the fruit of her marriage to Léo Santana, the blonde revealed that her foot changed size during her pregnancy.

The curious discovery to which he has come attracts attention, but, according to a follower who replied, it is a “natural” resource of the woman’s body itself.

“It happens to some women, so they don’t lose their balance because of the belly,” the woman explained — according to Lore, Liz’s nutritionist, but she didn’t reveal her name. “The good news is that only the first pregnancy causes such significant changes in the structure of the feet.”

Why do feet grow after pregnancy?

According to the midwife and gynecologist Laura Beatrice, the change in the size of the feet of pregnant women occurs. Women who have a more concave foot start to notice it flatter and, consequently, thicker.

According to the doctor, it’s not that the foot grows, on the contrary, it lengthens or gets fat. However, the number tends to decrease after pregnancy.

But this change is the result of a combination of factors. The first of these is the well-known swelling of pregnancy.

“A pregnant woman’s heart works more overloaded, and the vessels tend to be a little more dilated, which decreases the speed at which blood returns to the heart. Because of this, the legs and feet are more swollen,” explains the doctor.

Additionally, hormonal changes resulting from pregnancy increase the production of progesterone, which can alter gastric function and interfere with joints. There is only one reason for all this change: to prepare the body for childbirth.

“The joints become more mobile. The body works in perfect harmony. The tendency is for all joints to become more malleable, preparing the body for childbirth. This can also cause the foot to change,” she adds.
