Spoon Brigadeiro, on a daily basis or for a spoonful of egg


How to make brigadeiro with a spoon, measure it and eat it by the spoonful, in cups or in a spoonful of egg

A recipe for everyday life, which saves time, because it doesn’t need to be rolled up and can still be a different dessert at Easter.

INGREDIENTS:

Brigadier Spoon:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, more to finish (optional)
  • 100 g of semi-sweet chocolate in pieces or drops.
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

To accompany and decorate (optional):

  • chocolate chips (optional)
  • Waffle cookie (optional) or any other cookie of your choice, + cookie(s) crumbs to decorate

To assemble the Spoon Brigadier – Spoon Easter Egg (optional):

  • 1 medium Easter egg of your choice (optional)

PRE-PREPARATION:

1. Assemble all ingredients and utensils for the recipe.

PREPARATION:

Brigadeiro spoon (for daily use or egg spoon):

  1. In a pan mix all the ingredients of the recipe (condensed milk, cocoa powder, semi-sweet chocolate and butter).
  2. Put on low heat, stirring constantly with a spatula.
  3. When the chocolate and butter have melted, away from the heat, use the wire whisk to mix vigorously, in order to obtain a very smooth and homogeneous mixture, eliminating any lumps from the cocoa and/or chocolate.
  4. Put it back on the heat and as soon as it thickens and the mixture comes off the bottom of the pan, it’s ready.
  5. Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap and let cool.

Brigadeiro de Colher (for day by day): Assembly and finishing (for day by day):

  1. Divide the brigadeiro into pinga cups or other small containers.
  2. Lay the grated chocolate on top.
  3. Place in a container with a lid and store at room temperature.
  4. If you prefer to keep it in the fridge, the brigadeiro will be harder, it should be removed a little before serving so that it returns to its normal consistency.
  5. Or, if you prefer, prepare the special Easter assemblage – poached egg, as follows.

Special: Easter Assembly – Egg Spoon:

  1. To make this special assembly, use a medium-sized Easter egg of your choice.
  2. Pour the brigadeiro into a pastry bag, or if you prefer, spread it out with a spoon, creating designs.
  3. Fill one or more halves of the Easter egg.
  4. Cover with chocolate grains or, if you prefer, serve with biscuits and crumble some to decorate.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve in small cups or inside the Easter egg or eggs you assembled with coffee spoons so people can eat with a spoon.
