Natural sandwich, tuna and avocado: healthy fast food at home for young and old

Natural Tuna Sandwich with Avocado: a combination of canned tuna and avocado, very simple, but very tasty and much healthier than fast food.

Natural tuna sandwich with avocado

INGREDIENTS:

Sandwich (bread):

  • 4 slices of wholemeal bread
  • olive oil for greasing

Tuna and avocado filling:

  • 1 can of canned tuna
  • ½ tomato, seeded, diced
  • ½ red pepper, deseeded, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onion
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ avocado, lightly mashed
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice (juice)
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
  • hot paprika (optional)
  • salt and pepper

Finish:

  • lettuce (leaves cut into wide strips)
  • olive oil, salt and pepper

PRE-PREPARATION:

  1. Gather all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Clean, chop and mince the ingredients. Don’t open the avocado yet.
  3. Wash the lettuce well, cut into wide strips. Soak in a bowl of water and sodium hypochlorite.
  4. Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Natural Tuna Sandwich with Avocado

PREPARATION:

Tuna and avocado filling:

  1. Open the can of tuna and discard all liquid.
  2. Put the tuna in a bowl and mash it.
  3. Add the tomato, chilli, parsley and chives and mix well.
  4. Season with half the oil, salt and pepper.
  5. Reserve.

Sandwich (bread):

  1. Arrange the bread slices on a baking sheet.
  2. Drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil.
  3. Place in the preheated oven for a few minutes, just until lightly browned.
  4. If you find it safer, turn off the oven and let the bread brown in the residual heat.

Tuna And Avocado Stuffing – Natural Tuna And Avocado Sandwich:

  1. Peel the avocado. Remove the pulp and put it in a bowl.
  2. With 1 fork, knead lightly – it should still be a bit chunky.
  3. Sprinkle with lemon juice and mix thoroughly.
  4. Add mayonnaise (optional).
  5. Add the rest of the oil.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Add hot paprika (optional).
  7. Mix well and reserve.

To finish – Lettuce Salad – Natural Tuna Sandwich with Avocado:

  1. Wash the lettuce leaves well.
  2. Drain, dry or centrifuge.
  3. Next to serving, return to a bowl or salad bowl and drizzle with the olive oil, salt, and pepper.

Natural Tuna Sandwich with Avocado:

  1. Remove the bread from the oven. Turn it off if you haven’t done it before.
  2. Mix the tuna with the avocado.
  3. Place a slice of bread on each plate.
  4. Distribute the filling.
  5. Put the dressed lettuce on top.
  6. Cover with the other slices of bread.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. This sandwich should be served individually assembled.
  2. Take the sandwich mounted on the plates, cut it in half forming triangles.
