Viih Tube puts on 22 kg in pregnancy; doctor explains the risks

Therefore, the pregnant woman needs a diet rich in nutrients that contribute to your health and the healthy development of your baby. According to the doctor, the most important are vitamin D, folic acid, B vitamins and iron.

Risks and precautions

Excessive weight gain during pregnancy can increase the risk of diseases such as high blood pressure, gestational diabetes or eclampsia. Therefore, the specialist recommends that the pregnant woman make regular visits to the doctor for proper follow-up.

“If the weight gain is very high, a diet with adequate calories and exercise can be started, as long as there are no contraindications that prevent regular physical activity,” concludes Vilela.
