Ingredients:

  • 500 g of corn for hominy
  • 3 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 liters of milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
  • Ground cinnamon to taste (optional)

Method of preparation:

  1. Wash the white corn and soak it in water for 1 hour
  2. Place the hominy in a pressure cooker, cover with water and cook for 15 minutes, after starting the pressure
  3. Wait for the pressure to release naturally and open the pot.
  4. Transfer to another pan, add sugar, salt, milk, condensed milk, cinnamon and cook for 25 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, stir occasionally.
  6. Remove the cinnamon and then transfer it to a bowl
  7. If desired, garnish with cinnamon sticks and sprinkle with ground cinnamon.
  8. Serve immediately.
