The presenter shared more details about her recovery process

After a skiing accident that broke her leg in four different regions, the presenter Luciana Gimenez shared a video on his Instagram where he shows his followers which shoes he is using during his physical recovery process.

“My new post-accident allies. I can’t wait to get back on track. When I can use them again, I’ll be back!” said the 53-year-old presenter in the publication’s caption.

“I, who have always walked in high heels, have been wearing flats for 12 weeks,” she added, celebrating the progress of her recovery: “Before, I couldn’t put my foot in any shoe, I could only put it in my shoes. son, who wears size 46”.

The presenter moved the followers with her testimony. “Since I was little, when I wear high heels, I feel more confident, it’s like I’m in a costume. I can’t explain it, I’ve been wearing heels since I was 14 ”, she vented. Luciana Gimenez also showed the closet where she keeps her shoes. “I couldn’t even open that wardrobe, it’s not just for vanity, it’s for the symbology of being free”.

The incident occurred earlier this year, in January 2023, while Luciana was skiing in Aspen, USA. At the time, she fractured her left leg, requiring emergency surgery and placing four pins in her leg. Gimenez even used a wheelchair.

“Despite everything I’ve been through, I took from my heart a gratitude for learning. We are to be grateful. It could have been worse. Imagine if I tore ligaments in my knee? I might as well have hurt my hand, and I couldn’t walk on crutches,” he said at the time. “I have to be grateful, take advantage of this situation and become a balanced human being, with more patience,” she added.
