Current low temperature records

For accounting entries in the capitals that have manual and automatic measurement, Climatempo adopts as a criterion the values recorded in conventional meteorological stations, as they have a much broader historical data and allow comparisons with a more distant past compared to automatic stations.

An example of this situation: the conventional weather station in Belo Horizonte, in the neighborhood of Santo Agostinho, has been measuring since 1910. The automatic weather station in Pampulha has been recording data since 2006.

Discover the lowest temperatures recorded this year in the capitals of the South, Southeast and Midwest, Rondônia and Acre until 04/18/2023, according to measurements by the National Institute of Meteorology in its network of conventional weather stations (reading the instruments carried out by a person) and automatic (data obtained without manual contact).
