Mango mousse with jelly

  • 1 piece(s) ripe but firm palm mango, chopped
  • 0.5 cup(s) of water, filtered
  • 1 packet(s) of colorless and tasteless gelatin powder
  • taste the sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon (juice)

To finish and decorate:

  • 2 mint leaves
  • 4 palmer mango slices (thin slices with skin on)

PRE-PREPARATION:

  1. Assemble the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Wash the mango well and, without peeling it, cut (with a very sharp knife) a slice lengthwise, as if you were cutting a melon.
  3. Divide this piece into very thin slices for decoration – 2 slices per person.
  4. Wash well and dry the last mint leaves.
  5. Arrange the mango slices and mint leaves on a plate, cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  6. Peel the rest of the mango and chop it.

PREPARATION:

Mango mousse with jelly:

  1. Place the chopped mango in a food processor or blender and beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Dissolve gelatin according to package directions.
  3. Mix the melted gelatin with the mango cream.
  4. Then add the sugar and lemon juice and beat to mix well.
  5. Transfer to individual bowls and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. When you’re ready to serve, remove the mango mousse with jelly from the fridge.
  2. Serve in the bowls it was assembled in.
  3. Decorate with the reserved mango slices.
  4. Finish each serving with a mint leaf.
