He revealed the news in an official statement, after nine days of protesting to keep the capybara with him. According to him, the action was carried out with the help of friends and family after “much dialogue” with the institution.
“Today I express my greatest proof of love for Filó. It is important to note that I have never been against and would never have prevented my beloved Filomena from one day joining a flock of capybaras to follow her life. I have saved, healed her and kept a huge feeling in my chest for her,” she said.
On April 18, the 23-year-old was reported on suspicion of abuse, mistreatment and exploitation of animals and fined approximately R$ 17,000, as well as being warned to remove content featuring the capybara from the web.
He shared his daily life with Filó on a farm in Autazes, in the interior of the Amazon, and the content went viral on social networks.
“I guarantee that the mistakes I made were unconscious, without bad nature or any attempt at exploitation. Absolutely no videos with her brought me any financial results. It was just me with a cellphone in hand, recording my life along the river” he said.
OR Stadium he contacted Ibama to ask for an official statement on the situation, but received no response. The space remains open. See the influencer note in full:
The state deputy for Amazonas Giovanna D’Arco (UNIÃO), who had legally assisted Agenor in the case, shared the backstage of the delivery of the Filó capybara to Ibama.
In a video posted on TikTok, the institute’s agents can be seen arriving on a small plane and receiving the animal from the influencer’s arms.

Influencer opens “crowdfunding” to cover the costs of fines
Already this Friday 28, Agenor Tupinambá launched an online “crowdfunding” to raise funds and cover the fine received from Ibama, in addition to the legal costs incurred in recent days.
“As you all know, I have been denounced and fined for environmental infractions in which I am accused of mistreatment, abuse and exploitation of wild animals. A situation that saddened me greatly and also cost me my relationship with Filó, the most beloved capybara in the world,” he explained.
“Everyone also knows my condition, where I live and how I live. Unfortunately I cannot pay these sums. And I humbly came here to ask for the collaboration of those who can help me. In addition to the fines, it is possible that I will have to pay other legal costs, travel, etc,” she added.
The influencer said that he will “account” for the sum collected and that, if “any legal action reduces or cancels the amount of the fines”, he will undertake to donate the sum to institutions that promote animal welfare.
