Homemade wholemeal bread recipe

Performance: about 10 slices of 40 g.

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups wholemeal flour (tea)
  • 2 cups oat bran (tea)
  • 10 g (one sachet) of dry yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons of organic cane sugar
  • 2 cups of vegetable drink
  • 2⁄3 cup olive oil (tea)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Method of preparation:

In a large bowl mix the flour and baking powder. Heat the vegetable drink for two minutes to make it lukewarm (it cannot be hot so as not to damage the yeasts in the yeast).

In the blender, beat the warm vegetable drink, the eggs, the sugar, the oil and the salt. Then add the liquid with the flour. Mix well and leave to rest for 1 hour.

Grease a loaf pan with butter and flour or use a silicone mould. Pour the mixture and brush a beaten egg yolk over the dough. Cook for 25 minutes at 200°C.
