ingredients:

  • 1 cup of white rice tea;
  • 3 cups of water tea;
  • 3 cups of milk tea;
  • 1 tablespoon of sugar;
  • cloves and cinnamon sticks to taste;
  • Cinnamon powder for sprinkling;
  • 200 g of condensed milk.

Method of preparation:

  1. To make this delicious traditional Festa Junina creamy sweet rice recipe, start by washing and draining 1 cup of white rice.
  2. Then put the rice in a pan together with the cloves, cinnamon sticks and water and cook over low heat until the rice is cooked.

  • 1 cinnamon stick;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 1 pinch of salt;
  • Cinnamon powder to decorate.

Method of preparation:

  1. Start by cooking the rice in water until it is soft and dry. Reserve the cooked rice. In a separate saucepan, melt the sugar over low heat until golden brown.
  2. Gradually add the milk, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Then add the cinnamon stick, condensed milk, cooked rice and salt.
  3. Cook for about 10 minutes until the milk thickens. Then, transfer the mixture into individual cups and leave to cool.
  4. Leave the cups in the fridge for about two hours and, before serving, decorate them with ground cinnamon and sticks.
  5. Ready! Now you just have to serve your caramelized rice pudding.

Microwave Creamy Rice Pudding

ingredients:

  • 1 cup (tea) of rice washed and drained;
  • 3 cups (tea) of water;
  • 1 can of condensed milk;
  • 100 g of grated coconut;
  • Cinnamon powder and stick to decorate.

Method of preparation:

  1. Making this sweet rice recipe in the microwave is very simple. Start by placing the rice and water in a microwave-safe container.
  2. Cover with a lid suitable for this type of cooking and microwave for about 15 minutes on high power, or until the water has almost evaporated and the rice has softened.
  3. Remove from the microwave, add the condensed milk and shredded coconut and mix well. Place the container back in the microwave for another 5 minutes or until the condensed milk is incorporated into the rice, stirring halfway through to avoid spilling.
  4. Allow the mixture to cool, then transfer to heatproof plates or individual bowls. Garnish with cinnamon sticks and serve hot or cold.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups (tea) rice, washed and drained;

4 cups (tea) of water;

4 cups (tea) of milk;

3 tablespoons of sugar;

1 cup (tea) of crystalline sugar.

Method of preparation:

  1. To make the rice pudding, place the rice and water in a pan over medium heat and cook until the water has almost evaporated and the rice is tender.
  2. Then add the milk and sugar and continue cooking until the mixture is almost dry again.
  3. Add the condensed milk and cook for another 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent it from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  4. When it’s ready, let it cool and transfer it to a plate. Coat the rice with the granulated sugar and use a torch to caramelize the sugar. Serve the brûlée pudding immediately.
