Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • 2 cups of water (tea)
  • 1/2 cup honey (tea)
  • 2 tbsp Ginger (diced)
  • 1 peeled chopped apple
  • Peel of 1 orange
  • 4 cloves
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4 cups cachaça (tea)

Method of preparation:

  1. In a saucepan, over low heat, melt the sugar, without stirring, until it forms a golden but not too dark caramel.
  2. Add the water, honey, ginger, apple, orange zest, cloves and cinnamon
  3. Meanwhile, stir until all caramel melts.
  4. Add the cachaça and bring it to the boil.
  5. Boil for 3 minutes and then serve.
