INGREDIENTS, ACCESS THE SHOPPING LIST HERE

Brigadeiro Gourmet:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, more to finish (optional)
  • 100 g of semi-sweet chocolate in pieces, or callets.
  • 1 tablespoon butter + a little for greasing your hands (optional)

To decorate:

  • chocolate grain

PRE-PREPARATION:

  1. Gather all the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Adjust for 4 servings, if you want to make a whole recipe, yielding 50 candies, with about 10g each (without sprinkles).
  3. Break the chocolate into small pieces.
  4. Grease a plate with butter to allow the brigadeiro dough to cool.

PREPARATION:

Brigadeiro Gourmet:

  1. In a pan put all the ingredients of the recipe and mix.
  2. Bring to a low boil and stir constantly.
  3. When the mixture is boiling, cook, stirring constantly, for 15 to 20 minutes or until it thickens and pulls away from the bottom of the pan — to be sure of spot, tip the pan slightly to the side and see if the mixture comes away from the bottom.
  4. Turn off the heat and transfer to a buttered baking dish, leave to cool slightly and cover with plastic wrap to let it cool completely.

Brigadeiro Gourmet – Editing:

  1. Place the chocolate chips in a bowl.
  2. Wet your palms with water or grease them with a little butter.
  3. Using a teaspoon (plate) as a measuring cup, take a portion of the dough and roll it into a ball weighing approximately 10g each.
  4. Dip the ball in the dusted chocolate so as to evenly cover the entire surface.
  5. Repeat the process until the ingredients are used up.

FINISHING AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. reorder the gourmet sergeant/s inside the paper cups, arrange on a serving plate and store at room temperature or, if you prefer, it can also be stored in the refrigerator, for a longer duration.
