Traditional anthill cake recipe

Preparation time: 1 hour

Performance: 8 portions

Difficulty level: easy

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of oil (tea)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 and 1/3 cups (tea) of milk
  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • 3 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup chocolate (grated)
  • Oil and wheat flour for greasing
  • Grated coconut flakes and chocolate chips for dusting

Method of preparation:

  1. Blend the oil, egg, milk and sugar in a blender until smooth.
  2. Pour the flour, coconut, granules and baking powder into a bowl and mix with a spoon.
  3. Pour into a greased and floured 24cm diameter cake tin with a hole in the centre, and place in a medium preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  4. Let cool and unroll.
  5. Sprinkle with coconut, sprinkles and serve.
