Time:
25 minutes
Performance:
15 units
Difficulty:
easy
ingredients
- 1 roll of shortcrust pastry (500 g)
- Olive oil for greasing and brushing
Filling
- 1 can canned tuna, drained
- 1/2 can drained corn
- 1/2 can of drained peas
- 1/2 cup cooked and chopped green beans
- 1 diced cooked carrot
- 1 chopped seedless tomato
- Salt, black pepper and olive oil to taste
Method of preparation
For the filling, mix the tuna, corn, peas, green beans, carrots, tomatoes, salt, pepper and olive oil in a bowl. Reserve. Roll out the shortcrust pastry roll and cut out circles with a pastry cutter of the desired diameter. Arrange the dough in greased large or small pie pans and brush with olive oil over the top of the dough. Arrange in a large skillet and place in a preheated medium oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from the oven, let it cool and unmold the pasta. Stuff with the reserved mix and serve after.
TIP:
These baskets are very versatile and go with everything! You can fill them with sausages, mayonnaise, salads and even with some sweet ingredients, such as syrup ice cream, since the dough does not have a strong taste. Plus, they’re delicious to serve as appetizers for special lunches or dinners!
