Pop Plus: The largest plus-size fashion fair in the world takes place in June on Avenida Paulista; know everything

The June edition of the event takes place on June 24 and 25 in São Paulo and features an artistic program; admission is free

The largest fair of fashion plus size in the world, the Pop Plusis about to debut its 34th edition in St. Paul. Scheduled for June 24 and 25, the event presents its June edition at Paulista Avenue.

The fair has been held since 2012 with four editions a year in the capital São Paulo. It was created by the communicator, DJ and activist Flavia Duringone of the pioneers in the fight against fatphobia in Brazil, after realizing that it was difficult to find fashion in line with her style and personality.

The highlight of the fair is small to medium-sized, signature and national brands, led by women or families. Sizes range from 44 to 70 and can also be made to measure. There is also menswear and decoration products for sale. There will be more than 80 exhibitors.

The event also features artistic attractions. In its June edition, Pop Plus will feature fancy mail, DJs, dancing and a children’s programme. There will be debates on fat people’s rights and a style advisory board.

On the 24th there will be performances with names like the group More show and ballet with Julia Del Bianco. On the 25th, attractions such as Letizia Junqueira AND Miss Draga. The fair also offers flash tattoo sessions.

Pop Plus takes place at Club Homs, near Brigadeiro Metro Station. Admission is free.
