BC Arquiteto’s office project uses earth and clay to create sensory experiences in the environment
The project of homesigned by the office Architects BCIn Bruno Carvalho and Camila Avelarfor CASACOR São Paulo 2023, highlights the relationship between past and future, with a special look at the ancestry and primitive relationship of man with his first home.
Taking as inspiration the theme of the exhibition ” Body and address“, the brand proposes to create a common thread between affective memoriesfrom the point of view of new contemporary livingin addition to using elements such as the earth and clay activate a sensory experience.
In the search for an affective architecture, the architects underline the importance of origins and the link with our history. The environment features natural elements such as earth and clay, as well as the use of Brazilian art and design.
“We try to imprint in Casa LG a return to origins, to human roots, to find inspiration and architectural solutions that promote a deeper and more authentic connection between human beings and the space in which they live”, explains the architect Bruno Carvalho.
“Also, the use of natural materials together with the choice of LG branded magenta color as the main architectural element it creates an interesting contrast between the concept of ancestry and LG’s cutting-edge technology, placing both in a prominent position,” he adds.
