  • 270g hearts of palm
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 cup finely chopped bacon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons chicken broth
  • 2 teacups of milk
  • chopped parsley to taste

Way of doing

Start by browning the bacon in a pan without adding any other type of fat. It must be well toasted to become crispy. Reserve, leaving the fat in the pan. Add the butter and saute the onion and garlic. Next, already put the heart of palm cut into pieces and sauté for another 5 minutes. Add the wheat flour and let it brown for about 3 minutes. Add the broth and milk, boil for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper from the kingdom and blend everything in the blender. Serve the heart of palm cream and finish with the toasted bacon and parsley.
