Ingredients:
- 2 liters of milk
- 1 lemon juice
- 2 1/2 cups (tea) sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- Cloves and cinnamon sticks to decorate
How to prepare the dulce de leche:
- In a tall skillet or cauldron, boil the milk with the lemon juice until it thickens.
- Add the sugar, salt and baking soda and cook over low heat for 1 hour, stirring with a wooden spoon, until reduced by half and thickened.
- Then let it cool and pour it into a compote.
- Serve garnished with cloves and cinnamon sticks.
