The main inspiration for the project came from contemporary country houses, with solutions that favor maximum integration of the interior spaces with the surrounding nature.

“We have named this shelter ‘senses’ because our intention here is to awaken different sensations in visitors based on materials, textures, lighting, ventilation and natural vegetation which, combined with organic and rounded shapesthey instinctively connect us to the environment,” explains Cadé.

The concept of integration it has also been explored internally through fluid spaces that dialogue with each other, subtly dissected to avoid abrupt visual barriers.

-

“Casa Senses also bets on silent luxury by integrating into the interior architecture natural elementssuch as wood, stone, cotton, linen, leather and plants, to obtain a discreet, timeless and, at the same time, elegant decoration”, underlines Michelle.

“The idea is not to show off, as today the concept of luxury has more to do with well-being, timelessness, good quality products and, of course, discretion,” adds Thiago.

The entire floor of the house has been covered with wooden rulersthe walls and the porticoes received travertine marble slabs and have gained the aluminum frames of the main facade (which function as revolving sunscreens). special wood effect paint AND straw weave closureinstead of traditional glass.

Another strong point of the project is the hole in the ceiling through which a large tree passes existing on the land, which has been incorporated into the internal space and surrounded by Adam’s ribs, performing both the function of a winter garden and a divider between the social and intimate areas of the house. “The rip is completely open to let rain or shine in, when they want, without much fuss,” jokes Cadé.

The architects also highlight the kitchen concentrated on an island, with a sideboard and buffet atmosphere (designed by them and made entirely in Dekton to hide the appliances) and the bathroom-spa dedicated to personal care, with the right to a bathtub against the glass wall, facing the outdoor garden.
