Yoga poses to strengthen the pelvis
bridge posture
This pose helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, as well as stimulates blood circulation to the region.
Lie on your back on the floor with your arms extended at your sides. Then, he bends his knees to bring his feet towards his buttocks, keeping the soles of his feet on the floor and knees shoulder-width apart. Push into the ground and lift your hips. Your legs, hips, glutes and back should lift off the floor and up towards the ceiling. Extend to the chest to lengthen the back. At this point, your knees should be bent and your weight distributed equally between your feet, shoulders, and upper arms. After a few seconds, slowly and in a controlled manner lower your chest and back, starting at your neck and working your way up your spine until your buttocks touch the floor again.
Cat-cow pose
This sequence involves gentle movements of the spine, which help increase flexibility and strengthen the pelvic muscles.
To do this, get on all fours on the floor and arch your back up like a cat. Then lower your back, bringing your belly towards the ground in order to strengthen the entire lumbar region, especially the hips.
posture of the goddess
This pose is especially effective for strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, as well as improving posture and stability.
To begin, stand straight and turn your feet with your toes out and your heels in at a 45-degree angle. Keep your feet apart as you bend your knees toward your feet, then lower your hips until they’re even with your knees. Stretch your arms to shoulder height, bend your elbows and bring your hands together, pointing your fingers towards the sky. Spread your fingers and stimulate your back muscles. Hold the pose for as long as possible.
“Importantly, each person is unique and it is recommended that you consult a health professional before starting any new physical practice,” he concludes.
