Ingredients:

  • 4 cups wheat flour (tea)
  • 1 cup (tea) of sugar
  • 1 cup (tea) of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder (chemical)
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups butter (softened)
  • 2 tablespoons of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 grated apples
  • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup seedless black raisins

Method of preparation:

  1. In a bowl mix the wheat flour, sugar, brown sugar, baking powder and salt
  2. Add the butter and then mix
  3. Add the milk and the egg and mix until a firm and homogeneous mass is formed.
  4. If necessary, add more milk
  5. Add the apple, walnuts and raisins and mix with your hands until you get a homogeneous mixture
  6. Form the dough into a not too thick cylinder, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
  7. Remove and cut into 1cm slices
  8. Arrange, side by side, on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper and place in a preheated medium oven for 10 minutes or until set.
  9. Remove from the oven, leave to cool and serve immediately.
