Fitness influencer Carol Borba explains how to adapt exercises to train at home and get great results

Physical activity is one of the pillars for a healthy life. However, many people don’t exercise because they simply don’t have the time or inclination to go to the gym.

With this in mind, the influencer fitness Carol Borba shared some tips for adapt exercises and train at home. But without forgetting to respect the limits of your body and ask for professional guidance when necessary. Look down:

Lunges with knee raises

This movement helps tone your thighs and buttocks, as well as improve endurance and performance. To practice this exercise at home you will need a ladder and a backpack on your back to simulate the weight of the device.

In this way it is enough to fix one leg on the step of the stairs and slowly bend the back leg, almost touching the knee to the ground, then extend the knee to the starting position, lifting it towards the chest. Repeat the movement.

Leg extension

Another exercise recommended by Carol Borba is the leg extension, generally performed in the flexor chair. But to train it at home, keep your spine straight and shoulders aligned, bending one leg in an up-and-down motion, working your quadriceps and the front of your thigh.

Squats “Sumo”.

The “sumo” squat, known for working the legs and butt, can also be adapted to be performed at home. Instead of the device blacksmithyou can use a broomstick on your back and a resistance band to keep your body aligned.

The exercise begins with a standing posture, with feet shoulder-width apart, and the squat is performed by keeping the knees slightly behind the toes until the thighs are parallel to the floor.

Simple squats

To train simple squats at home you will need the help of a backpack that simulates the weight of the device. With your feet shoulder-width apart and your posture upright, squat down to maximum range of motion, keeping your heels on the floor and your abdomen tight.
