After getting into a teddy bear catching machine and becoming trapped, a child was rescued by firefighters. The case occurred in the southwest of Chinaon the 12th.
According to the Chinese press, the boy entered the machine where the prizes come out after realizing that it was full of toys. But the car door is one-way and, soon after, he realized that he couldn’t get out and started calling for help.
The child’s parents then alerted the firefighters, who rushed to the scene. The boy was holding a stuffed animal, scared and crying.
The firefighters removed the lock from the glass cabinet of the car and managed to get the boy out of the equipment within 5 minutes. He came out safe and sound with no serious injuries.
This is not the first case of a child being trapped inside claw machines: very similar incidents have occurred in the United States and Australia in recent years. Chinese firefighters stressed that parents should always monitor children and, of course, provide them with safety education to avoid similar accidents.
