Dried meat shelter
ingredients
- 1 kg of cooked cassava
- 250 g of milk cream with serum
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 kg of desalted, cooked and chopped dried meat
- 1 onion peeled and chopped
- 4 cloves of garlic, peeled and crushed
- 2 tomatoes, seeded and peeled, chopped
- 250 g of grated mozzarella
- Olive oil, salt and ground black pepper to taste

Preparation method
Place the still hot cassava in a container and, using a fork, mash it well. Add the margarine and salt and mix well. Add the cream, mix and set aside. In a pan, add the olive oil and place over medium heat to heat. Add the onion and garlic and brown them. Add the chopped dried meat and brown it well. Then add the cherry tomatoes to the pan and cook them until they have wilted. Turn off the heat and set aside.
In a refractory pan greased with olive oil, place a layer of cassava puree, add the dried meat and cover with the rest of the puree. Sprinkle with mozzarella and place in a preheated oven at medium temperature to brown. Serve immediately.

- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 kg of desalted and chopped dried meat
- 3 onions, peeled and cut into thin slices
- Chopped parsley to taste

Preparation method
In a pan, add the oil and place over medium heat to heat. Add the cassava pieces and fry until golden brown. Turn off the heat and set aside. In another pan, add butter and place over medium heat to heat. Add the onion and dried meat and brown for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat, add the parsley and mix well. Then arrange the fried cassava and dried meat on a plate and serve immediately.

Pumpkin with shredded meat
ingredients
- 1 kg of dried meat, desalted and cut into cubes
- 800 g of pumpkin peeled and cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 liters of water
- 2 cloves of garlic, peeled and chopped
- 1 onion peeled and chopped
- 3 tablespoons chopped green chili pepper
- Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Preparation method
Add half the water and the dried meat to a pan and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes. Next, turn off the heat, drain the dried meat and set it aside. In a pressure cooker, add the olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and brown them. Add the dried meat and brown until golden brown. Add the rest of the water, cover the pan and cook for 35 minutes after coming to pressure. Wait for the pressure to release from the pan and place the pumpkin on top. Cook until the vegetables are soft. Season with salt, black pepper and green pepper and mix well. Turn off the heat and serve immediately.
