The Beto Carrero World amusement park, a Penha (SC), announced that the thematic area Nerfmania will open on October 12, Children’s Day. The space was created in collaboration with Hasbro, which owns the rights to the Nerf toy brand. For those who don’t know, they are water throwers and darts, a craze among kids.
The first Nerf-themed area in the world, the complex is the result of an investment of R$100 million – the largest in the history of Beto Carrero – and will feature two new attractions, arcade games, a toy shop and a restaurant. Further news will arrive in a second phase of the project.
This isn’t the first time the Beto Carrero creates a thematic area in collaboration with a toy line. Since 2018 there has been an area dedicated to Hot Wheels with a themed car show.
The new toys
Inspired by Nerf, the new attractions were imported from Italy. The first of them, Super Soaker Splash, promises to get wet just like toy guns: the goal is to aim a Nerf and shoot water at opposing teams, while the toy spins non-stop.
Already the Rotating explosion It is a disk that slides on a wave-shaped track, rotating frantically. The attraction can accommodate up to 40 people at a time.

How to visit

Tickets can be purchased via the website or at the box office in person and cost between R$99.90 and R$169.90 for adults, depending on the date chosen.
