Many forget important parts when hydrating. Do you usually put a little cream on your elbow? And on your knees? Then the heels, poor things… I know, it’s normal, but now you can change these habits. When these areas dry out, they can crack and even bleed. Therefore, to help you in this mission, I present some important tips for keeping these areas healthy.

Given the temperature changes of the last few days, it is important to keep your knees, elbows and heels hydrated! Competence:

Knees

It is often exposed to external factors, such as atmospheric agents, friction from clothing and impacts that occur in everyday life. Here, it is worth investing in products with prebiotics, which improve hydration, as they restore water, protect the skin and also prepare it to receive other active ingredients, such as 100% natural oils.

Another trick is to massage the area well to stimulate blood circulation and relieve tension. To start, sit correctly and extend your leg slightly. Apply two drops of coconut oil, pumpkin seed and sunflower oil to your hands and massage gently onto the front of your knee, using circular motions with your fingertips.

Heels

You can use a good moisturizer with a few drops of 100% natural oil. It is worth remembering that in the hope of minimizing dryness, many resort to exfoliation. Avoid. The skin in this area is naturally thicker and rougher, so exfoliation will not help eliminate the dry look, in fact, it will only remove the natural protection.

And you know those hard shoes? Because of the excessive pressure they can cause, they also contribute to dryness. Choose comfortable, cushioned shoes to protect your heels. When wearing socks, choose cotton socks that allow your skin to breathe; choose softer models for the soles of your feet.

Elbows

Since this is a drier place and with fewer sebaceous glands, it is important to avoid clothing that is rough or causes constant friction, since due to the low oil production in this area, the skin tends to become drier, chapped and even bleed.

One trick is to apply a 100% natural oil, it can even be olive oil, and cover the area with a small piece of cling film. Leave it for a while, up to a minute. Remove the paper and massage until absorbed. And finally, invest in products based on almond milk, figs and cocoa, natural active ingredients that help repair weakened skin, thanks to their hydrating effect. Apply daily, in the morning and before going to bed.
