The Saudade Tropical line designed by Gabriel Azevedo brings 40 products with designs that recall a “perfect summer”
Marking the second collaboration between the designers Gabriele Azevedo and Tok&Stok, the line Tropical saudade carries 40 items, including cushions, poufs, deckchairs with waterproof fabrics, crockery, bathroom, beach, candles and air fresheners.
“AND collection of outdoor areas, which includes numerous solar and summer spacesa moment in which I believe Brazilians feel more connected to their culture and more open to living experiences that will remain in their memories”, explains Gabriel.
In the drawings there are six prints: carambola, collage of memories of Brazil, caramelized dog, striped hisbiscus, banana and tile. “The candy dog is a mockery of the term ‘mutt syndrome,’ a hymn to our mixed-breed nature,” he explains.
In the color palette, the predominance is navy blue, beige, pink, green and yellow. “The drawings were made with colored pencils and oil pastels, materials that I have used since childhood, somehow Saudade Tropical is a connection with my inner child, Gabriel who was born in Recife, he is still alive even though he travels in different places,” he concludes.
