This year, the large-scale project “Musiccasting” celebrated its sixth anniversary. During the existence of the competition, young artists have reached the top more than once. General producer of “New Radio” Roman Emelyanov explained what is special about the new season, and also shared the emotions that he most often feels during the show. “Musiccasting 6.0” is in full swing and on October 30, the name of the winner will be known!
What do you think will be the finale of the new “Musicasting”?
The competition once again brought together talented young artists from across the country, eagerly watched by millions of spectators. Over the course of five seasons, we have illuminated more than one showbiz star. The jury, as always, is strict but fair, so the best of the best will compete for the main prize. The winner will be chosen together with the New Radio audience of Marie Crimebreri, ST, Bahh Tee, Filatov & Karas, the general producer of HiFi streaming “Zvuk” Sergey Baldin and yours truly. And during the semi-finals, Dima Bilan and Mary Gu have already shared their expert opinions.
Listeners and spectators were treated to many surprises. So, Kalinin and Raytraun, hosts of the morning show “1+1” on New Radio, unexpectedly made their debut as musicians at the competition. And even though they failed to qualify for the final, their performance will be remembered for a long time. I am sure that many more brilliant moments await us.
What’s new this year?
We collaborate with our partner label Lotus Music, led by producer and musician Bahh Tee. The company has prepared many prizes for the participants. We try to invite people with a new perspective to the project. After all, it is important for each candidate to meet professionals in their field: music gurus who can not only give a rating, but also give useful advice.
