ingredients

Spicy sauce

  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 seedless red pepper, chopped
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Popcorn

  • 1 cup diced bacon
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 1/2 cup of corn for popcorn
  • 1 cup (s) of diced Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste

Method of preparation

For the chili sauce, in a blender, blend all the ingredients until smooth and season with salt and pepper. For the popcorn, in a skillet, sauté the bacon in the oil until golden brown over medium heat. Remove the bacon from the pan with a slotted spoon and set aside. In the bacon fat, add the popcorn and return the pan to medium heat. Cover and when it starts to burst, move the pan carefully so as not to burn yourself. When it stops crackling, mix the cheese and the bacon that you have kept aside with the help of a wooden spoon. Season with salt. transfer to a bowl and serve with the chilli sauce.
