Prepare cod together with Eleni Moretti (@deliciasdaeleni) while talking about her relationship with cooking. Ivete’s mother died in 2001 and was an important role model in the singer’s life, even in choosing her favorite dish, since seafood was not always her first choice.

“My mother made this cod. I didn’t want to eat the fish, so my mother went an entire afternoon without eating anything. When it was night, I threw away all the cod,” he says.
In the video he also talks about his identification with Brazilian cuisine. “When I traveled, I tried delicious things, local products and things like that. But nothing compares to our food, you know? Besides our heritage, we have a love thing, Brazilians are loving,” she declares.

ingredients
- 700g potatoes, peeled, sliced and cooked
- Olive oil to taste (be generous)
- 1 kg of desalted, flaked and cooked cod
- 3 onions sliced
- 3 sliced hard boiled eggs
- Half a cup of chopped black olives
- 1 tablespoon chopped coriander
Preparation method
- In a large baking dish, arrange a layer of potatoes and drizzle them with some of the olive oil.
- Then arrange the cod chips and drizzle them with olive oil.
- Cover with sliced onions, drizzle with more olive oil and repeat the process until you run out of ingredients.
- Decorate with hard-boiled eggs, olives and coriander, add more olive oil, cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated medium-high oven (200ºC) for about 40 minutes. Serve.
