It’s never too early to fill your apartment with holiday scents!
The last weeks before the New Year are not the easiest times. That is why the smells that remind us of vacation and make us wait for it will not do harm, on the contrary, they will help you relax and remind you that wonderful days await us very soon! Discover seven tips that will help you immerse yourself in an atmosphere of magic and joy – this is what you can do.
Leave a bouquet of pine needles at your home
Nothing reminds you of the New Year like freshly cut pine or Christmas tree branches. Place them in a vase or just place them around the house, add cedar balls to the shelves with clothes – and your house will be transformed!
Light a candle
Scented candles are a great way to enjoy a scent without getting tired of it: you can light them whenever you want. And of course, you can build your own collection of New Year’s scents – from cinnamon cookies to tangerines and pine.
Mix essential oils
Some of these are great for winter, like myrrh, cypress, sweet juniper berry, cedar, fir, cinnamon, and wild orange oils. They are very simple to use: add a few drops to a spray bottle with water, shake well and spray the room.

Make a pommel
Pomanders are dry citrus flavors. It is believed that they were once a traditional decoration for Christmas trees in England. Making a pomander is very simple: take an orange, draw a pattern of dots on it with a felt-tip pen, then stick a clove into each bud (it is better to make a hole in it with a toothpick or skewer).
Bake cookies
What’s better than the aroma of freshly baked treats? By the way, you can prepare a gingerbread house and assemble it before the New Year or Christmas with your family or friends.
Name one of the pots for the New Year
A saucepan and a few spices and ingredients from the cupboard are enough to permeate the whole house with the smell. Take out your favorite holiday ingredients (like apples, oranges, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and cloves), add water, and place on the stove (just be careful not to let the water boil over ).
Replace your hand soap
Choose one that smells like pine, tangerines or pastries – that way you’ll remember the holiday every time you wash your hands.
