Ingredients:

Syrup

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water

Pudding

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup creamy dulce de leche
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) milk

Cake

  • 1 cup milk (tea)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup (tea) oil
  • 2 1/2 cups (tea) wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon of chemical yeast
  • White chocolate flakes and dulce de leche cut into cubes for decoration

Preparation method:

  1. For the syrup, mix the sugar and water in a saucepan and heat over a low heat until a golden caramel forms.
  2. Pour into a central hole with a diameter of 26 cm and set aside.
  3. For the pudding, blend all the ingredients in the blender and pour into the caramelized mold.
  4. For the cake, blend the milk, egg, sugar and oil in a blender until smooth.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and add the flour, cornstarch and baking powder and mix with a spoon.
  6. Carefully pour into the mold over the pudding and place in a preheated medium oven in a bain-marie for 1 hour or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Remove from the oven, let cool and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  8. Unmold and decorate with chocolate flakes and dulce de leche cubes to serve the dulce de leche pudding cake.
