Walnut pudding recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 cup milk (tea)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • Walnuts to decorate

Syrup

  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water

Preparation method:

  1. For the syrup, heat the sugar and water over medium heat, without stirring, until golden caramel forms.
  2. Spread it onto a medium baking tray with a hole in the center and set aside.
  3. Blend the condensed milk, milk, coconut milk, eggs, cornstarch and half the nuts in a blender for 2 minutes.
  4. Mix the remaining nuts with a spoon and pour into the caramelized mold.
  5. Bake in a medium preheated bain-marie oven for 50 minutes or until cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven, let cool and place in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  7. Unmold, decorate with walnuts and serve.
