Lipedema: You can no longer ignore this problem
Late last November I was in Las Vegas, US, covering AWS re:Invent, the cloud giant’s flagship global event. Several companies presented their cloud and AI-based innovations here.
One of the Brazilian clients that has brought innovations to the world is the Sírio-Libanês Hospital. The idea is simple: by installing a 5G modem in the ambulance, the patient’s vital information can be sent directly to emergency medical staff, speeding up diagnoses and procedures.
This way, when the patient arrives, there is no need to triage or exchange information between the street and hospital teams.
When it comes to emergency care, every second counts and can mean the difference between life and death!
The 5G project is still in the testing phase but will soon equip all the institute’s ambulances.

I spoke with Sírio-Libanês CTO, Diego Aristides to better understand the project.
