A 30-minute workout might be enough to eliminate the excesses of dinner
After the Christmas dinner full of many delicacies it is normal to feel heavy and without energy. But physical activity after the commemorative date, in addition to helping burn calories, can restore well-being and focus on a healthy life plan.
Anyone who thinks that dinner excesses can only be eliminated with a lot of effort and a restrictive diet is wrong. Physical educator Roberth Resende explains that a 15-minute HIIT workout combined with up to 15 minutes of light jogging is a wonderful combination for taking the excess out of your Christmas dinner.
Little by little returning to physical activity, drinking lots of water and eating a balanced diet will help you not only to compensate for excesses, but also to build a good foundation for a healthier lifestyle in the new year that is beginning.
As for the calories acquired at dinner, nutritionist Felipe França underlines that it is not an isolated moment of an unhealthy diet that compromises the results of those who dedicate themselves to it in a constant and disciplined way throughout the year.
“If the person is already consistent with a training routine and adequate nutrition, there is no problem in enjoying these moments in a lighter way, this is also part of healthy social behavior,” underlines the professional.
The nutritionist also states that it is not necessary to eliminate any food from the options when preparing the dish for dinner, but warns about the amount of alcohol to consume during the celebrations.

“It is a period in which we eat a lot of fatty foods, a lot in excess, and in order not to damage the liver even more, I would observe the concentration of alcohol that occurs at this time,” he advises.
If you intend to drink, the recommendation is to add, between each glass of alcohol, a glass of water to help the liver detoxify, do not drink on an empty stomach and help the liver with herbal teas and plenty of water the next day.
