Eating out during the two most popular holidays of the year has its advantages. And also its price, especially if the gifts include accommodation.
Next, check out the options for Christmas and New Year’s Eve dinners in the city of Sao Paulo, whose à la carte options start at R$149 and can reach R$11,096 per person, with dinner, brunch on December 25th and two nights in a selected category apartment.
The following selection only includes party options which, as of this writing, still had free tables for reservation.
Rua Oscar Freire, 413 – Jardins / Rua Jerônimo da Veiga, 179 – Itaim Bibi
OR cook Fabio Vieira has prepared a special menu for the day 25th December which revisits Christmas classics with a contemporary twist.
The menu will include options such as sliced turkey breast with gravy and mushroom velouté, sage and thyme farofa with beiju flour, and Tahitian lemon pie for dessert. R$149 (with dessert) and R$132 (without dessert).
Pinheiros, Vila Olímpia and Lar Center
The traditional sequence dinner (chester, chickpea salad with cod, mix of green leaves with figs and tropical salad) costs from R$198 per person (Christmas or New Year)depending on the chosen branch.
The New Year’s menu includes bacon à la pururuca, chickpea salad with cod, mixed salad with figs and tropical salad.
The restaurant will also have a “Premium sequence”, which includes cuts of picanha and ancho Angus (from R$260).
Av. das Nações Unidas, 13.301 – Morumbi
Christmas Brunch: It takes place on December 25, from 1pm to 4pm, with bread and cheese stations, salads, hot dishes, Japanese food and desserts. The price of R$480 per person also includes sparkling wine, red and white wines and non-alcoholic drinks such as water, juices and soft drinks.
New Year’s Brunch: The special edition Sunday Brunch costs R$480 per person and will take place on January 1, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm, with soup, quiche, seafood, meat and dessert stations.
Dinner and accommodation packages start at R$2,728, with breakfast included.
Rua Augusta, 129 – Consolação
Christmas dinner: The evening menu (R$640) includes a welcome appetizer, hot dishes, such as ravioli with salmon and brie, desserts and drinks (water, soft drinks and juices). The package with dinner and overnight stay, between 24 and 25 December, costs R$ 2,140 (couple).
New Year’s Eve: The party (R$ 940 per person) includes appetizer, main course, dessert, non-alcoholic drinks at dinner and sparkling wine for the toast. The dinner and accommodation package (from 31 December 2023 to 1 January 2024) costs R$2,870 per couple.
Alameda Santos, 1437, Cerqueira César
Christmas Brunch: It takes place on December 25, from 1pm to 4pm, in the restaurant on the 23rd floor, with dishes created by chef Danilo Brasil, including a station of Japanese dishes. R$750 per person with open bar included.
New Year’s Eve: Dinner (R$900 per person) will be at Must Restaurant and includes special appetizers, main courses and premium open bar.
Av. São João, 677 – Historic Center
Drums, bands and DJs throw a New Year’s Eve party in the most famous corner of Sao Paulo.
The party (from R$990 per person) will have open bar of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and a menu with appetizers, dinner, desserts and snacks.
Rua Eglefino Lobo, 1738 – Jardins
Christmas dinner: The simple dinner includes a starter (lobster salad with fresh figs) and hot dishes (turkey, hake and lamb rice with truffled asparagus risotto), plus a buffet with 14 desserts and drinks (beer, draft and soft drinks). From R$769 (hall) to R$849 (deck).
New Year’s Eve: The à la carte menu begins with prawn tartare and continues with three options of hot dishes (bobó with scallops and passion fruit reduction, suckling pig with orange reduction and medallion with cauliflower puree and foi gras. From R $1,019 (dining room) to R$1,239 (deck), with 1 bottle of wine for every two people, 1 glass of sparkling wine for a toast and draft beer, beer and soft drinks.
The Faria Lima unit will offer a buffet of cold and hot dishes, grills, side dishes, desserts, both at Christmas (R$ 719 per person, with draft beer, beer and soft drinks) and New Year’s Eve (R$ 799 per person with 1 bottle of wine for every two people).

Alameda Santos, 1437, Cerqueira César
Christmas dinner: On December 24, starting from 8pm, traditional and vegetarian options will be served, with specialties such as carpaccio of sea bass, cod, confit duck and the exclusive Pavê Seen dessert (vanilla cream, popcorn ice cream, champagne crumble and cumaru). The event includes cocktails from Seen bar and wines from Viña Errázuriz. R$1,300 per person.
New Year’s Eve: The New Year’s Eve dinner, starting from 8pm on December 31, costs R$ 2,400 per person and includes a six-course menu + morning snack, selection of craft cocktails and gin and tonic by Heitor Marin, as well as red and white wines and Perrier- Champagne Jouët Brut, as well as water and soft drinks.
Among the attractions of the party will be DJs André, New, Daniel Sax and Carol Saubert.
From 11pm onwards, the restaurant will also organize a New Year’s Eve party (R$ 1,600 per person) with snacks and drinks until late at night.

For dessert, yule log, mini pastry, truffle, milk pudding, panacota, soft cocada, walnut cake, Dutch cake and fruit in syrup.

Christmas dinner: Dinner at Restaurante Tarsila, from 8pm to 1am, was created by chef Reinaldo Figueredo and will include dishes such as shrimp with acerola cream and black sesame, duck terrine with fig chutney, confit cod with Chilean olives and dried tomatoes and turkey. roast with lemon sauce.
The price (R$ 890 per person) also includes desserts and drinks (sparkling wine, whisky, gin and tonic, wines and juices).
New Year’s Eve: The dinner will have a station with five soup and custard options, 16 appetizers, including tomato gazpacho with oyster sauce and marinated artichokes stuffed with gorgonzola mousse, 15 main courses and 17 other dessert options. R$1,100 per person.
