Panettone French Toast

Ingredients:

  • 1 panettone (500g)
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of whey-free cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • Margarine for frying
  • Sugar and cinnamon for sprinkling

Modpreparation:

  1. Cut the panettone into 2-inch thick slices
  2. In a bowl, mix the condensed milk and cream and set aside
  3. In the meantime, in another bowl, beat the whole egg with the yolk
  4. Moisten the panettone slices in the milk mixture and then in the egg and then fry them in a pan with margarine until golden.
  5. Sprinkle with sugar mixed with cinnamon, arrange on a serving plate and serve immediately.
  6. If desired, decorate with candied fruit and cinnamon sticks.
