At this point 2023 has already passed, but it can still be an inspiration for those who are already planning trips for 2024.

The airline ticket search engine Kayak has just released a classification with the most popular destinations of last year. Interestingly, the top four most searched trips in 2023 are the same as in 2022, both domestically and internationally.

In other words, Brazilians innovate little when it comes to choosing their next vacation destination.

To prepare this list, we evaluated searches between January 1 and December 11, 2023, compared to the same period the previous year, on round-trip flights, departing from all airports in Brazil.

According to Kayak itself, the domestic flights that saw the greatest increase in ticket prices were Fortaleza (14.65%), Belo Horizonte (9.91%), Recife (9.36%), Porto Seguro (7, 22%), Natal (7.06%), Maceió (6.07%), São Luís (4.09%) and Belém (2.98%).

On the other hand, the destinations that recorded the greatest drop in tickets were Vitória, in Espírito Santo (-6.50%), Porto Alegre, in Rio Grande do Sul (-5.37%), Navegantes, in Santa Catarina (-4.25%) and Foz of Iguaçu, in Paraná (-3.70%),

The international flights that suffered the greatest reductions in ticket prices were Santiago (-25.59%), New York (-19.38%), Miami (-17.83%), Los Angeles (-18.86 %) and Cancún (-15.38%).

The largest increases were felt by passengers flying to Porto (11.78%), Rome (10.68%) and Amsterdam (10.48%).
