Actress Thaís Araújo was hospitalized with severe back pain. Herniated disc is a disease that affects approximately 40% of the population, mostly affecting women and men over the age of 40 or 50. It is estimated that 15% of the world’s population has had some episode of sciatic nerve discomfort. Being more common among women than men, it is generally a persistent discomfort, but of variable intensity, which may be accompanied by numbness, tingling, tingling and muscle weakness. Practice core-strengthening activities, such as pilates, to promote stability in the abdominal and lumbar regions. 12. Invest in relaxation techniques, such as meditation and yoga, to relieve stress and reduce muscle tension. 13. Monitor your weight and maintain a balanced diet to avoid excessive load on the spine. 14. Adopt ergonomic habits not only at work, but also in daily activities, such as getting out of bed and carrying backpacks.

15. Stay hydrated, as dehydration can compromise your spinal discs.

17. Take breaks during long periods of driving to stretch and move.
