Bruna Eloísa denied that she will get married to pay the cost of a “social trick”
The beautician Bruna Eloisawho got married last Saturday, the 20th, was accused by the make-up artist Jey Abrantes to make a coup to be able to pay the value of a “social trick” to get married, with a higher production value for brides.
The argument between the two began after Bruna published photos of her wedding day. Jey saw her publications and was indignant at her, since the beautician had told her that she would only go to a baptism, so as not to have to pay for the cost of wedding makeup.
“I didn’t even ask her if she was engaged. She said she was going to a baptism and her mother would be too. She even forced her friend and his mother to lie and say that he had been baptized. I have never experienced this and people still want out,” Jey wrote on social media.
He said the problem wasn’t that Bruna shut down the “social trick” while she was engaged, but rather the lie. “I felt hurt because no one likes lies […] I don’t care if he didn’t want the wedding regalia. Wedding makeup products are much more expensive,” she wrote.
Jey explained that when her clients are brides and can’t afford to pay, she is the only makeup artist who accepts makeup as social, so she doesn’t tolerate lies.

Declaration of the bride
The bride then spoke about the controversy on social media. She said she sought the “social makeup” service to pay less, as makeup artists charge more when the production is for brides. The justification of the professionals is that the makeup must be more resistant to last longer and not be ruined by the tears of the special day.
The price of “social makeup” has increased from R$160 to R$480 for bridal makeup. Bruna then found Jey, who charged a more “convenient” amount, and did not ask her any questions about the event she would be attending.
“He never asked me if I was engaged. I simply said I wanted this makeup, she gave me the price and I booked it,” she revealed in a TikTok video.
She also said that she was already at the wedding venue when the makeup artist asked her if she was the bride. Fearful of having to pay a higher price, she refused.

Excuses and mockery
After enjoying the wedding, Bruna said she received a message from Jey calling her a scammer and telling her that she had suffered the biggest scam of her life. “I can’t and didn’t want to pay for the bridal package, you know? I just wanted to do my makeup and I had no choice for brides,” the beautician explained.
“He did my makeup normally. The time he would spend with an ‘any’ client was for any other event. So, he didn’t spend any more time on me, he didn’t spend any more product on me, they were the same thing,” she continued.
Also, after the controversy, she sent an apology to the makeup artist and said that she actually shouldn’t have lied. However, she claims she received a mocking response from the professional.
“So that’s it, guys. It happened. And if you don’t agree with my attitude, disagree at home,” Bruna added.
