Martine Ali is the first designer to create a reinterpretation of the Converse Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge, which arrives in Brazil for R$ 1,299.90
In the heart of Brooklyn, jewelry designer Martine Ali stands out for her urban aesthetic, deeply rooted in the musical culture of the 2000s, and her ability to explore new forms and materials. With a career spanning almost fifteen years, Martine has been a pioneer in experimenting with metals and chains in accessories, always seeking to translate the urban essence of the Big Apple into her creations.
Currently, his unique aesthetic is defined by refined shapes and modular elements, resulting in utilitarian-style pieces that echo the streetwear and hip-hop of the 2000s. His creations have won admirers around the world, worn by creatives and cultural icons.

Precisely for this reason, Martine Ali was chosen by Converse to elevate the Chuck 70 to new heights, being the first designer to present her interpretation of the latest model in the De Luxe line: the Converse Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge, which arrives in Brazil this Monday (29th) for R$ 1,299.90.
The Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge stands out for its angular and raised sole, made of EVA foam, which gives the piece a sculpted effect. The square, asymmetric toe cap completes the design, providing a unique, contemporary aesthetic. The sneaker’s upper maintains the classic Chuck Taylor design, but is reinterpreted with new construction and materials, resulting in a volumetric silhouette that redefines the Converse portfolio.

The model has adjustable leggings
Martine Ali brought her creativity to explore the silhouette, taking inspiration from the utilitarian suits used to walk through water. The new version of the Chuck 70 De Luxe Wedge offers two style options, with or without an adjustable leg, allowing the user to choose between a mid-cut model, closer to the original Chuck 70, or a high-top. The choice of black as the only color, with leather details, reinforces the urban influence of New York.

The strong point of adjustable leggings is not only aesthetic, but also practical. Martine Ali designed it to be breathable, durable and adjustable, providing multiple styling tricks to the wearer. Metallic rivets and contrast stitching add striking detail to the garment, reflecting the designer’s expertise in metallic finishes.
