- 1 kg of sliced Tuscan sausage
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- Chopped green chilli to taste
Cooked cornmeal
- 1 cup pre-cooked cornmeal
- 3 cups (tea) of water
- 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
- 1 clove of minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary
- 1 cup milk (tea)
- 150 g of grated mozzarella
- 50 g of grated parmesan
Preparation method:
- Heat a pan over medium heat and brown the sausage in its own fat for 3 minutes.
- Add the onion and sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes and green chilies and pour into a medium baking dish.
- For the polenta, dissolve the corn flour in the water.
- Heat a pan with butter and brown the garlic and rosemary for 3 minutes.
- Add the dissolved cornmeal and milk, stirring constantly after it begins to boil, for 10 minutes or until thickened and the cornmeal is cooked.
- Pour the sausage over and cover with the cheeses.
- Place in a preheated medium oven for 15 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
