Lent is a liturgical period, celebrated by Christians, which lasts 40 days inclusive between Ash Wednesday and Palm Sundaylast Sunday before Easter.
During this period people tend to rethink their attitudes, to dedicate themselves more helping others, building new habits, cleansing yourself and making some kind of personal sacrifice. According to Yara Vieira, esoteric consultant at the Astrocentro, Lent is a time to repent of our sins, to change something about ourselves to be better. “In these 40 days we are invited to change our lives, it is a time for forgiveness and reconciliation”, he says.
“Many think that Lent is a time of sadness, but no. In reality it is the preparation for a big party. Normally for a party we buy new clothes and shoes, we do our hair, our nails, because then, in those forty days , this is how we prepare for the great celebration of the renewal of our lives, of the transition to a new life, which is Easter” adds Yara.
The beginning of this cleaning, safeguarding and protection process is judicious and intense, but the prayers, fasting, bathing and spells can help.
“A sympathy during Lent always seeks faith, the opening of paths and caution to achieve the desired result, so they are excellent options, since they are also capable of directing our intentions and desires, offering an ideal vibrational field to attract what that we want”, explains the Astrocentro consultant.

To recover lost things: a lost love, health, a lost object
Attend the Hallelujah Sabbath Mass with a lit white candle. When the mass is over, blow it out and take the candle with you. When you get home, rekindle the flame and express your desire with all the strength of your faith.
Sympathy during Lent to attract prosperity
Required ingredients:
- 3 whole eggshells (make a very small hole in each egg and remove all the white and yolk);
- 3 pieces of yellow paper;
- Scotch tape;
- Paint or colored paper;
- A brown candle.
Write whatever you want on each piece of paper. Fold well and place a piece in each shell. Close the hole with tape, decorate the shells with paint or glue with pieces of colored paper.
On Easter Sunday, go to a park, or any other outdoor location, dig a hole and put some dirt on it. Place the lit brown candle on top and ask the gods of the earth to bless it with complete prosperity.
“But remember that you don’t just have to ask. You also have to act and play your part in the whole story. Real change happens from within“, concludes Yara.
