According to the research, issues related to the human resources sector and accidents at work are also among the most reported
Cases of moral harassment, abuse of power, physical aggression and deviant behavior in the corporate environment were reported by 41.64% of those interviewed in the “2023 Study – Reporting Channel of IAUDIT Tecnologias”, a company specialized in auditing, reporting channels and compliance. Despite the high rate, there is a decrease compared to 2022, when it was 48.25%.
In 2023, other misconduct – in addition to complaints and HR issues – fell into the second class of complaints filed, accounting for 34.65% of cases. In third place, with 5.85%, are complaints relating to health and safety at work, unreported accidents and personal accidents.
“The findings offer insights for companies to improve their means of reporting irregularities and strengthen ethics and compliance policies, as well as ensuring a safe and ethical working environment,” says Rodolpho Takahashi, CEO of IAUDIT Group.

“This analysis is essential for organizations to understand the areas that require greater attention and development,” the study states.
The survey also says there has been a decline in the average time to investigate complaints, from a limit of 44 days in 2022 down to 29 days last year. Furthermore, 79.25% of the reporting channels analyzed allow anonymous reporting.
